Scrappers seems perfect rules and story wise but I think the scope needs to be a bit larger. Any ideas and suggestions? I'm thinking 3-4 squads with vehicles and such.

I just discovered the game Dark Age and it's miniatures. The miniatures would be perfect to represent the warlords that the emperor had to fight during the Unification Wars.
