So I am wanting to paint some powerswords to look like they are made of sunlight, like the picture. I looks like it should be white base with some yellow around the edges so my question is which yellow should I use?

I would thin down a very bright yellow to a glaze consistency and apply it in many thin passes. Maybe look at the Citadel contrast Iyaden yellow. Honestly though, any bright yellow like flash gitz yellow will work just fine. Because you're thinning it so much, the coverage doesn't matter. If you want that golden yellow, maybe try averland sunset.
tl;dr, Find a yellow you like and thin it like a glaze. Many thin coats is your friend.

Anything I say, unless expressly noted, is my own opinion. Take it as you will
