Subject: Kit-bashed Salamander Scout Vehicle - Paying Homage to the Su-76
Our local Warhammer Store was having a "Conversion Contest" for their store anniversary (online of course). I'd had "an idea" I'd been kicking around for a while, and finally decided to take the plunge. File this under "counts as" a Salamander Scout Vehicle (yes, I know it's a legend... not the bloody point) - but paying homage to the World War II Soviet Su-76 self propelled gun.
Our industrious servants of the 4-armed Emperor have duly stol... errr... commande... errr requisitioned it for their ongoing struggle!
Love it! 40k conversions that look like historic designs are so cool. I think it turned out better than the original salamander.
Great painting and scheme too.
