So shortly after the movie came out our FLGS did a huge diorama project in large scale of the Ramelle bridge crossing scene. over the years the table has taken a bit of damage and a couple pieces are missing but for the most part it is still together.

the set is so large it had to be broken into 2 boards-

the bridge sections

and the city section centered around the cafe shown in the movie.

this was a perfect setting for the 1/32 scale skirmish WWII game put out by the forces of valor/unimax toy company

We did a small 60 point battle of US VS Germans

The allied player decided to go tank heavy with his force as you can see. at first it seemed like a good call since my panther missed his first shot and got his main gun disabled making him little more than a glorified machinegun platform.

After eliminating his one infantry squad my infantry went to work with light AT weapons destroying one pershing through cumulative damage and forcing the second to withdraw from crew loss.

Not at all how i expected things to go....he was just having a hard time dislodging my infantry in cover with is tanks.

Wow - a 1/32 skirmish game - that’s pretty niche!

Amazing board and models.
