I could write an insanely long intro , but i think im gonna try to keep it short. I recall always swinging by here when i was a little kid as a reference point to awesome but never actually joining, Cue aging, not playing in years , leaving all my old Sororitas at a friends house in the North (about 1500 points of, RiP) and generally not having anyone or knowing of anyone locally into the same things (40k/Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader and other assorted nerdiness) it fell to the wayside as a hobby.

Recently ended up chatting to a friend of my partners as he'd just got my other halfs sister into wargaming and it re-kindled my interest.

Nabbed myself a heap of tools to get back into the conversion side of things as that was always what i loved most. (snips, pin vise, model saw, scalpels/blades , clay tools , paperclips for pinning and a few other bits).

Any threads you think may be of interest to me feel free to plop below, I have been reading some recently mind though.

Aaaaahhhh 200+ pages, amazing,Im like a kid waiting for christmas right now, Havent been so excited and sleepless for anything in a LONG time.

Though a little nervous as the mini ive decided to do first is pretty fiddly on the scale side, a first with resin & i have probably slightly ambitious tweaks to it for my ability level >.<

Hey welcome back to the hobby, from someone with a similar story who re-started last year.

Have you started planning any projects? What you gonna do first? How you gonna make a Hawaaiin without the pineapple? Can anyone spell Haiwaain?

Got a wargames exclusive mini on the way i liked the majority of the model on , though theres a lot of areas i want to saw away / rebuild / sculpt a little closer to the GW models & make the hair a little more mousey , i always used to be a huge fan of Muju on DA's art (i think its muju) and drew my Dark Heresy sisters character from one of his sketches and changed it minorly , i kind of want to create her as a mini.

Aside from that , i want to replace my old cadians with some of the Death Korps models as theyve always been my absolute fave IG , back in the edition i played Armored Fist platoons were inductable so i had 2 as to be able to have a Leman Russ also, Not even sure if my old army has remained safe at the friends house i left it at , so i may be on a very slow rebuild process, but i we shall see what comes

No point in attempting to be perfect. You goota accept the learning curve. Ive seen some insane stuff but then I realise its people who have a lifetime of sculpting experience and do this sort of thing full time in alot of cases lol.
