I've started to amass a small collection of mostly 88/89 Rogue Trader sculpts recently. Only some are actually casts from that period as I know they continued to produce these sculpts for a bit. At least a couple are from 93, and their blisters makes no mention of lead.
However, for the ones that do have lead, do these late 80's Citadel models typically have a high enough concentration to be vulnerable to lead rot? Or was this more of a concern for the early 80's and before?
I also remember reading that you should not store lead minis in wood cabinets due to the chemicals they off-gas, but does this also apply to ones that have been primed and painted (including the bottom under the base)? If so I will look into something made of glass, or possibly even plastic if that is acceptable and won't contribute to lead rot.
I'm a fairly paranoid person and these minis are important to me, so if anyone has other tips to prevent lead rot be sure to let me know, thanks all!
