Putting it here as it’s not anime discussion as such. Instead, I’m looking for pointers for my Lass’ eldest’s birthday.

She’s turning 10, and likes “kawaii” pandas and sloths. She also likes her stationery. So I’m looking for recommendations on kawaii panda and or sloth stationery.

There’s a lot out there, but I’m concerned that anime being anime, I may buy something incredibly inappropriate!

Have you tried...like just looking at it? Generally you can see if the thing is going to be inappropriate. you can also probably go to a trusted IP, like, does Hello Kitty have either one of those two animals in its extended sort of canon roster? Surely there must be a 'hello panda'.

I guess Pandas tend to be more in China's wheelhouse. Reminds me of the response to the movie Kung Fu Panda by the chinese president. He said something like

"This film depicts China's national animal engaging in a treasured traditional Chinese martial art. Why have we not produced such a film?"

Ball's in your court Shi, now you're going to have to produce a movie about a CGI cowboy eagle who learns how to shoot guns from an old Bison gun-master who is also played by jack black because that's the rules, I didn't make the rules but if you're going to steal some other country's cultural thing and profit from it you do have to cast jack black, we did it with Kung Fu Panda, the Sherlock Holmes films and we did it with Nacho Libre so now it's a rule.

Googling around for washi tape might lead you to other good results as that's a specific product name that might show you stores with other, related, stationery (cute stuff from Japan).
