It's time to pick a theme for May! This month, your options are:

Killer Instinct: From animalistic predators to cold-blooded assassins, there are those who will without regard for mercy, quick and ruthless. Your entry should feature models known for their capacity to deal death in a particularly brutal or precise manner..

Boots on the Ground: Inverse of April's theme, this one is all about the footsloggers. We're looking for fighters who do battle with their own two (or four, or six ect) feet planted on good solid ground.

Feel No Pain: From the sheer toughness of a bionically augmented Iron Hand Marine to the unfeeling fortitude of an zombie, these warriors can take a hit and are hard to put down. Bring your toughest, most resilient minis to this round.

From Ages Past: Relics of a bygone era. Ancient warriors from armies long fallen. Weapons that are as legendary and storied as their wielders. The events of the past shape the battlefields of the present, and your entry should feature models with such historical signifuicance to them in some way, be it a hero's lengthy tale of past deeds, the use of aged armour or weapons or some other link to the history of their faction or setting.

Oooh some good ones this month...I went for From ages Past..... couple ideas bubbling... but lets see what gets picked...

I have a Spartan Hoplite that is begging for 'From Ages Past' - It's a no brainer for me

I went for boots on the ground, as I need to paint some more infantry. However, I think I have stuff in the wings that would fit any of them.

Ages past for me, can do a couple of others too though.

As usual, I can find something from the Closet of Shame to fit any of these themes, but I went with From Ages Past.

I should be able to put something together for any of these, but "From Ages Past" sounds the most interesting to me.

I think I can use the same models for all four of these themes! I voted Killer Instinct, because it best represents them, but planning on doing some of the xenomorphs from the new Aliens board game; definitely killers, they run around on their own 2/4 feet, they absolutely feel no pain and they were discovered in a truly ancient wrecked spaceship.

Tough one but keen to try them all! I should have at least a few minis that are applicable.

I think I could fill any of these with the backlog I have built up.

I just got some more LotD in a trade and I honestly think they would fit any of those as well. I've also got plenty of other things that would fit any of those if I don't feel up to something as rigorous as LotD though. Getting bones and flames to feel right can be such a pain sometimes.

Ages Past. Will paint more old metal miniatures.

From Ages Past - I have just got the Crimson Court for the Vampire Counts army that I am starting - perfect.

Hmmm.... Guess a big dragon fits that...lord knows I have plenty begging for paint.

I think i can finally get some core space done, purge have probably been around for a while and certainly have legendary weapons.

Sounds like a good excuse to finish up the last of the RT era metal vets.

Might be more lurking, but at least the 3 remaining in the primed pile.

Have fun with that. I'm painting them right now and they're a right pain and a half, especially if you don't subassembly them.

There's so many awkward angles and fiddly bits that get in the way, I am having zero fun painting these models.

Do they make non-busty female vampires? I always assumed a nice rack came with the immortality/drinking blood deal.
