Hey folks,
Im looking for a TTWG that maybe yall can point me towards.

Im looking to re-enact a multi month campaign of the Modoc Wars in my neck of the woods. Any experience? Its mainly foot v foot federals later had an artillery piece (mortar i think).

The culmination will be a skirmish of hidden native units vs federals trying to find their water source. Still researching. My ACW union are based 4 to a stand. Indians will be singles.

There are two Osprey books that you could use to fit the bill.

Rebels and Patriots or The Men Who Would Be Kings could work. I considered using them for a Dakota War campaign myself.

Muskets and Tomahawks is a well established and well supported system, with figures too that covers that sort of era. http://www.studio-tomahawk.com/en/mousquets-et-tomahawks/

Isn't Muskets and Tomahawks too early? Modoc Wars is late 19th Century, while my recollection is that M&T is really only designed for the early 19th Century at the latest.

Thanks everyone. I hope i can reward your input with a quality video batrep. Itll be a bit.

After corresponding with LittleWarsTV's Gregg I have decided "the men who would be kings."
