I've bought some 3d printed terrain, and was wondering whether it needs to be washed prior to priming, as one would with resin?

Thanks for any input.

I don't think so. With cast resin its the mould release that causes the problems. With printed resin, you can have some uncured surface residue left, but I haven't found that such residue affects priming particularly.

I would hope that a commercial outfit should clear off the vast majority of that anyway.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Any uncured resin should cure while outside for rattlecan operations.

And as above, the issue lies with mold release and not an inherent property of resin itself.
