I needed some supply / troop trucks for my Vogen campaign, so the renegades have something to ambush. They are inspired by the Gaunt's Ghosts novels, where they often ride around in military trucks instead of chimeras.
They might get some aquilas at a later point, but as they will switch allegiances between loyal and renegade PDF, I skipped those for now.

They look great and really shout Cargo 6 Where are the models from? The remote turret looks a bit old-crowish.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Thanks. Yep, Jez casted them up for me, fantastic guy.

I got a bunch of his other vehicles too, but they need some conversion love to fit in as alternative chimera-type vehicles.

I’ve used some old crow stuff in the past and the design and casting quality is just superb. Really great painting work here as well.

Yeah, the casts are superb. No cleaning needed and no noticeable warping.

They have now seen action as well. Narrative text+pics report for the interested: https://mandollies.com/2021/05/07/battle-for-vogen-relief-column/

Jez's castings are some of the cleanest I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

I've only ever dealt with a few makers who take the time to even sand flat the casting meniscus, let alone have a cast surface that readily takes priming with little more than a soap/water wash. There are some bigger names in resin casting that could learn a few lessons from his work.

His modelmaking talents got him some recognition into a field he'd been trying to get into for a while (which is why he closed down for a while, a few years back).

These trucks are the goods. Awesome work.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
