An account of the writer's first L5R RPG, a Hida bushi. Written from the character's perspective. The two Winter Courts should be required reading for pure bushi characters whose players think Winter Court is just for courtiers and shugenja. Clever bushi can send subtle messages by cunning use of their bugei skills at appropriate times, thus aiding their Clan's goals, or their own.

Three acts in and this is one of the best things I have read in a while.

It really is. I was wanting to play the RPG again, and this has only fanned the flames. Barring that, I'd like to find another good L5R campaign chronicle. Or three.
