Is there a way to remove the icons from Deathguard or Greyknight Shoulderpads?
The ones with the text on it.

I consider myself a very experienced builder and kitbasher. But i haven't found a tutorial online to remove the decal on the shoulderpads without leaving a scar on the text.
Are there any thirdparty options for this Pads?
Couse I'd need round about ~100. So recasting is an option, but i need a good "Motherpiece".

Some backwater sump

Do you mean remove the details to use somewhere else, or remove it to have a completely clean pad?

If completely clean, you'll basically have to cut it off or file it down (files or an emery board would work). Alternatively, you could cut the entire pad off and replace it with a new, fresh one.

So, yes,

i ment to remove the decal from the pad to get a clear pad with text. No need for the icon.

Like, cutting the Grey Kight "Sword and Book" of the shoulder and have the blank text. So I can use the blank padwithout icon on my models.
But it leaves a scar. But i can't sculpt letters that small to cover it up.
