Hello everyone,

So I will possibly be taking an Eldar army to a event next year, I have had a number of models for a while now, few of which came already painted (not by me). I would like to try to replicate the scheme as best as possible, however I am a novice painter. Would like some help to identify any of the paints used on the model (preferably stick to Games Workshop paints or closest alternatives).

Appreciate anyone who can help .

Cheers all.

(for the upside down images, not sure why it uploaded like that, click on the image for larger view, should be normal).

Looks very much like Incubi Darkness with an edge highlight of Kabalite Green to me.

Hard to tell from the photos. In the darker ones, it looks like Alaitoc Blue, with Lothern Blue highlights.

That 4th photo of the Falcon that's brighter also looks like it has some green tones, so that could be more Ahriman Blue, with some Baharroth Blue mixed in for highlights.

Oh Canada!

Your best option is to ask the original seller and hope they painted the models and remember what was used.

Since that's a longshot, the second best option is to take a model with you into the store and compare paint there. GW used to have open painting sessions. If they still do you could swatch out some likely colours and see if they match. Some hobby shops also have swatch cards for their more popular ranges. Judging colours by pictures over the internet is an exercise in frustration.
