This is a resin model from Ragnarwerks Studio. I call it 1/12 scale but that's just a guesstimate. It's 22cm tall so that seems about right. It's a hand-sculpted resin-cast model. Overall it's a nice kit. The casting is pretty good (still requires some work to clean up but nothing crazy) and is covered with a mold release that needed acetone to remove. I didn't really like the surface texture of the model when I got started with it but as I was painting it I sort of turned around on it. It feels like the armor is ancient and gets repaired and painted over multiple times across the years and leaves it with pockmarks that may have been made over hundreds of years.

This was a commission piece. It's always nice when people send me something large to paint.

I’m not usually a fan of larger scale Marines but this is really nice work. The finished one looks like it could start moving on its own.

Thanks, guys. It's a nice piece and I always look forward to doing larger models.
