So I picked up the Soulblight book and a unit of skeletons today, I have many many blood knights and vampires already and thought hey 20 skellies to guard the backboard would be alright while my vamps reenact the glory days of Brettonia, After tallying my 2 lords and the blood knights I have 135 points to play around with and go to check the skellies and they are 85 for 10.

Does that sound right to you guys?, The box comes in blocks of 20 and the unit sizes are 10/30, I honestly think gdubs might have copied the Grave guard unit sizes over by mistake, Should it be 20 for the 85 with a max unit size 20/60?, That sounds better I mean these dudes are the chaffiest chaff in the game, Supposed to be equivalent to the zombies but then even they seem to have had unit reductions as they are 20/40?, So maybe gdubs is taking a mallet to the horde concept in 3rd ed?, Still if its not a mistake then 170 points for 20 seems really overcosted, I mean for an extra 20 points you can get blood knights or save 60 and get zombuddies.

They aren't worse than grots which are more expensive per point even if skellies were 20 for 85 pts.... 6 pts per point where skeletons would be tad over 4 pts.

3/4/-/1 vs 4/4/-/1, 6+++, comes back in combat phase...

Remember also sheer bodies have value. Lot less units you can simply go into objective and grab it if you have 5 models than 10.

If skellies were 20 blocks better up the price. 85 would be way too cheap.

With AoS 3 coming fairly soon, I think it might be too early to comment. And that’s because I expect we’ll get a new General’s Handbook to match, which may well redress points across the board.

85 for 10 is fine, 85 for 20 would be ludicrously overpowered. Plenty of units have a smaller minimum than the number of models in a box.

Mistake the command ability on wight kings

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I'm assuming that's supposed to read as "Combat Phase." That's how we've been playing it.

I presumed it was to next phase. As otherwise it's just keyword locked all out attack(worse actually. all out attack is 18" range vs 12" from general)

I'm not sure, because there is already a generic command ability which does that; it is possible it is just intended for use outside of matched but that would be unusual for this edition. If said generic is going away in 3rd it makes sense, but then the ability could just as easily mean 'end of turn' or 'end of round' it is hard to tell.
