Hi Everybody,

It’s been a tough year, deaths in the family, contracting COVID, the general “Pandemic Thing”, and Brexit…

Brexit has kicked a massive hole in our European sales, they’ve pretty much evaporated since January. EU sales used to comprise around about 45% of our turnover…. we’ve lost 90% of that since Brexit and it’s really, really hurting us.

Business atm is exceptionally tough, especially with wargaming clubs and meets that have been almost totally absent for so very long and the general uncertainty due to the Pandemic.

But, maybe, there’s finally some light at the end of the Tunnel with Lockdowns coming off and countries slowly opening up again.

So we’re launching this Spring Sale with between 25% -50% off items in the store whilst stocks last and we need you folks, to help put the word out about the sale as much as possible.

Whilst the sale is on you will still be able to use other offers such as Discount Voucher codes and your Wilma Loyalty Points and if you haven’t already noticed we have changed our postal rates to make ordering easier and with much lower target values to get “Free Post” status on orders.

But wait! There’s more!

Everybody who places an order of £15.00 or over will get entered into a draw to win one of the following prizes for vouchers you can use on our store: 1 x £100.00 AW Voucher, 1x £50.00 AW Voucher, 2 x £25.00 AW Vouchers, 10 x £10.00 AW Vouchers. These Prizes will be drawn on the 7th June 2021.

So, we’re asking you to spread the word about our Sale, and letting people know that now is a great opportunity to get yourself some top-notch scenery at superb prices with low or free postage… And with a chance to win even more FREE stuff!

Jed. Ben, Nadine

I thought they went out of business? Didn’t they say that in their undelivered Kickstarter updates?

Oh well. I hope they do well and pull out of the bad situation. I’m not going to be buying, though.

I think they just stopped casting resin and moved mainly to STLs

Edit: had a look on KS and the most recent two KS for STLs seem to have delivered, the one before that for one of the dropships was the one that had problems and there's no recent complaints there so maybe it got finished off? (they were certainly trying to)

I had pledged for two resin ships in that KS, and from what I remember they flat out stated they couldn’t complete the KS. I never received anything from them.

I cant vouch for their physical stuff, but their STLs are fantastic. Picked up a super heavy to go with my Kickstarter Horizon Wars forces and some drones for Stargrave.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

For all the quality they've put out in the past they've also been a lil shady and poorly ran, like didn't they flip flop overnight from "we're buying another warehouse full of resin casting machines yea boi" to "oops ran out of money we can't deliver gak".

They also recast diecast cars they were supposed to sculpt for Mantic's Mars Attacks complete with a faint "Made in..." on the bottom.

Posters on ignore list: 36

40k Potica Edition - 40k patch with reactions, suppression and all that good stuff. Feedback thread here.

Gangs of Nu Ork - Necromunda / Gorkamorka expansion supporting all faction. Feedback thread here

Ahh, that is less than promising.

Glory is fleeting. Obscurity is forever.

They bought up and then their main mold maker decided to move on and get a better paying job not in the industry and Jed said due to his age he was having issues doing some of the work and was going to look for someone to replace the person that left but couldn't (probably at the price they could afford) and so, at the time, was just going to make the larger things that were easy to mold. That was 2 years ago or so.

I know I got everything physical I've ever ordered from them (some as recent as right before the pandemic).

Did you get anything through their IMF Kickstarter?

Yes but I switched to 100% STLs when it was first offered due to the aforementioned mold maker leaving the company (which is why I remember what happened) so I've been complete on that for quite some time (feb 2019 from the looks of it).

While things have clearly been crap, and the company could go under, they have been working on molds and casting for the kickstarters up to last winter but it's been pretty slow so I can see how people are worried.

Not to shoot these guys down, the Product they produce is excellent, quality is second to none, far far far outstrips Forgeworld or any other resin or MDF model maker. But.........

I’ve backed a few of their Kickstarters, and things started to go downhill from their Forward Base KS. Best terrain I own, once it delivered. The last KS I backed was the US IMF one. This was funded in 2017, supposedly delivering in 2018, and yeah.............. Some people have had their rewards, don’t know the numbers, but I’ve had nothing, as I suspect is the majority of backers. Their latest update basically said we are not working on this anymore, we’ve spent all the money, and if we survive as a business, we may get back to it sometime in the future. No refunds available, but you can, switch from having a physical product, to an STL file so you can print your own. But if like me you don’t have a resin printer, you’ve lost your money.

It’s a real shame, they produce a very high quality product. I wanted to expand my Forward Base setup, but they’ve changed the design and no longer offer the same buildings as they did in the original KS.

I really hope they do get through this, not just because I want my stuff, but they are a genuinely nice set of people.

A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............

All of their interesting tanks and AFVs appear to be out of stock anyway. :(

Some of those STLs are seriously nice. Unfortunately, 28mm is not my thing. I wonder if they could print up in 6mm or even 3mm?

They print just fine down to about 10mm. I haven’t tried going down to 6mm but I think the details would be lost. The panel lines aren’t deep
Enough to go down that far.

Got my stuff from my sale order and I'm really impressed. Might even order some more before the sale ends.

I didn't read the descriptions on some of the items and was happily surprised to find that some of the kits came pre-painted and included printed full colour inserts as well. Bonus!

I got some MDF kits for my modern city boards as well as some resin pieces.

I am particularly impressed with the news stands

https://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/product/newsstands-x2/

These will assemble exactly like the picture with no painting required and have all the magazine art ready printed. Of course I will be adding some paint of my own to add dirt, graffiti etc but they would look fine without.

Very cool, thank you. I may put a small order together. I hadn't realised how much was pre-painted.

I think most, if not all, of their MDF is pre-colored.
