Hi all.

I want to start my necrons a bit later in the summer and I can’t decide which way to go.

I’m thinking either rust, cobwebs and dirt etc but with glowing neon to creat a contrast and a look that shows despite the dirt the machines are fully alive inside

Or

Full shiny Chrome, ancient robot warriors built so well that they still look like they have rolled of the production line.

I’m thinking of building an army with Trazyn the infinite as the warlord so the scruffy look probably doesn’t work but I really want to play with my spider web stuff from GSW.......

Full disclosure: I’m way behind on my necron lore.

But why not both?

IIRC there are the units that tend the tombworlds, awake over the long years, and then the sleeping crons. Do the sentinels old and weathererd, but the awakened ranks shiny and chrome. Use glows, accents and bases to tie them all together into a coherent force.

Yeah both is a good idea, the grunts can be rusty and then the top dogs can be all shiny
