The annual Skulls for the Skull Throne event for GW licensed video games is arriving on June 3 this year. However, it's being rebranded as "Warhammer Skulls". Look for skull themed content in your favorite GW video games, along with sales.
On another note, I find it mildly amusing that the brand new AoS game launched right before this event with Nurgle and not Khorne.

Why? Its doubtful that was the originally planned release date for Storm Ground, and by moving away to Skulls from 'Skulls for the Skull Throne,' Khorne isn't even implied to be part of the event any more.
Personally I want someone to actually list what's happening for the 'event' rather than just mentioning it theoretically exists. Previously it actually involved DLC, not just announcements and twitch videos of staffers yammering into a camera.
Creative Assembly has announced reveals for both Warhammer 2 and 3 on Twitch TV, tomorrow, at 6pm BST (that's just over 24 hours from when I posted this).
Warhammer Underworlds Online is 'Free to Keep' on Steam (base game only) until the 7th. With just a few warbands (the rest are paid DLC of course)
Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower is new (to Steam) and free. I suspect this was an iOS or Android game before? Know very little about it, I suspect 'in-app purchases' are its money model.
Pile of things are discounted, a couple new DLC for various games (like Gladius- one new unit for each faction in their 'Specialist Pack')
Ironically, a Primaris marine is the posterboy for this Skullz event, but the only game with Primaris is Battlesector, and it isn't out until mid-July.
Well that Shootas, Blood & Teed reminds me massively of the old school Newgrounds games such as Alien Hominid and the like. It looks like stupid fun, so it might be worth picking up on a sale.
As an aside, is the the Blood for the Blood God pack for Total Warhammer worth getting? It says certain undead units fight on after death and that there are new blood related global campaign events. Are these features worth the price?
Also a TWW2 DLC that doesn't have Skaven in it! Finally!
That's happened... a couple times (Queen & Crone, Hunter/Beast and Warden/Paunch). I guess it just stands out more because all the additional Skaven lords were DLC with more units, whereas the other base races else got a FLC lord or two, so less additional stuff.
Though really, I don't know what new lizard units are going to be added in this one (nor that they need any).

No. The only 'blood' related event I can think of just applies a global damage buff for a few turns, and randomly happens. I didn't know it was part of the blood pack.
Personally I think the 'blood and gore' visual for TW looks awful. Like someone just tipped over a pot of Blood for the Blood God technical paint on the models. Its overdone and a bit silly.

Well duh!
The implication of my post was that Skaven has received a LOT of love from CA. Even DLCs that are nominally about other races (Sisters of Twilight - looking at you) still get massive updates for Skaven including entirely new mechanics that get far more attention than the other side.

Yeah... that I'm not sure about. Other than the Trogladon, what's missing?

After reading some of the reviews on steam, this doesn't really feel worth the price. I'm also inclined to agree with you on the appearance as well. I went back and looked at some of the screenshots and the blood is kinda lame.
Blood patches are made available for every Total War game these days. Originally, they were free. Now, each patch costs a few bucks. Never really bothered once they started charging for it. Even if it was hyper-realistic, I wouldn't care enough to pay for it.

I've got a public facing job these days. I no longer have the ability to tell when people aren't saying stupid things because they actually believe them.
Just today, I had a man sincerely ask me, since we started accepting donations on the first, and will be accepting donations until the 15th, if we'd accept them today.
That was the total point of his phone call, for him to list off the dates, and me to verify that today was indeed between the 1st and 15th.
I finally grabbed Total Warhammer 2 on sale + the free DLCs + the 4 Totalwar Access DLCs. Im at 25 DLCs and I only bought the WhiteDwarf mag + TWW2 so far.
Has anyone tried the Titanicus game? Is it any good?
"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"
