I've been looking on adding several tech marines to my army's roster.
Though this did bring out some issues, as my current sources have gone quiet with the whole pandemic. Nothing bad mind you, it's just that they've stopped shipping/trading for the time being. So now I'm looking into finding other means to make tech marines, given the limited items at my disposal.

I already have several bitz that can be used to form a base for most of the marines that I'm going to make, seven being the objective number here, but I can deal with just getting four fully converted and built. I've already got several shoulder pads, chest pieces and helmets thanks to running GKs. But I'm at a loss for some of the weaponry/servo arms/axes..etc. I do have two axes thankfully from picking up several models for trade some time back in 6th.

I'm just asking to see if anyone knows of some usable bits that can be nabbed from other kits across he space marine line up, or even other factions altogether

Two are for my GKs, while the rest are for Salamanders and Crimson Fist detachments.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

Admech bits are great for this, and if you're feeling brave (and rich), you could cannibalize some parts from the GW and FW IH range.

However, if you fancy giving your modeling chops a bit of a push, then I'd say a greenstuff pipe roller, wire and guitar strings, plasticard and thin plastic modelling beams are also pretty good for that kind of stuff, though it's nightmarishly fiddly. Good luck!

I'm usually not one for using different items for making/converting my models. Mostly because the first few times that I tried to do as such, it turned out to be a rather horrifying Frankenstein's monster.

I have used some metal chain work in the past, or cannibalized some other shops material. Or even just some 3d printed materials to make things work.

I've used the kromlech bits on mine. Wasn't crazy about the helmet but I was using the torso and head of an old metal techmarine from the 3rd edition Blood Angels command squad as my base so I didn't need it. Backpack worked great though.
