Food for a Giant Fenrisian Wolf

Fenris

Hey guys and gals.

Trying to return to the hobby after not playing since 5th edition, and im finding list building a little confusing. After working my wy through both Space Wolves and Space Marine books I have settled on a 1000 points. Don't know anything about Power Levels so its purely points based.

Any constructive criticism is welcome.

I wouldn't say it's a bad list, just a bit odd. The deredeo is an uncommon pick and your terminator loadouts are also unusual. Wolves are a heavy melee army and you'd likely be better with a mix of thunder hammers and lightning claws for your terminators and probably one of our unique dreads like Bjorn or Murderfang.

Your warlord is missing his warlord traits, you even used the strategem to give him two traits. I'd go for imperium sword and wolfkin given his loadout. Also I'd give him frost weapons instead of the pelt as his s relic.

You may also want to look at some troops. 9th edition is all about objectives and troops are the only units that get objective secured (baring a few special interactions) . All of the options we have are great. Grey hunters and intercessors make good back field objectives holders whilst assault intercessors and blood claws make great shock troops.

Hope this helps.
