In the words of Clarkson - I did a thing!

This is part of a model that I'm slowly supporting and I did this video to show the concept of the supports I'm intending on using, along with the hollowing and tip sizes. There's no audio or anything fancy, this is more for getting any feedback people might have on the choices I've made. It's also not finished, though as its fairly even in design its simply a case that the style and theory would be applied to both sides.

If you've any feedback on the video itself and/or the style and supports I'd be most grateful. I'd be also be interested in if you find this kind of video useful

Nice!! I really like how you have shown the viewing flexibility of the supports in the Lychee program. I use Chitubox and I cannot view them in that manner, which does seem to be helpful.

I do find the most asked about part of supports are the default settings and where should they be, how far should they penetrate, parameters for the light, medium and heavy supports, etc. Possibly showing your support settings zoomed in, as they were a bit tiny to see.

Aye, I think its one area where viewing on youtube itself works better since embedding often ends up making things much much smaller than ideal for viewing little details like that.

And yes Chitu drove me nuts with its camera as well. If you notice at one stage when I go to view the leftside supports the view shifts and starts rotating around that point. In lychee all I had to do was hit f to do that. I think Chitu Pro now does something semi similar ish I think.

Still I find Lychee just works all round better and doesn't random crash on me.

I agree settings and such are important, if I were doing it as a guide I'd want audio and such in there to really explain things. That said I don't even know if these supports will work. I'm trying to cut down on thick supports; so on any detail area the thickest is a 0.3 and most are 0.25. The ones on the smooth connection surfaces get thicker up to 0.45 or there abouts as I don't mind damage there since its going to be totally hidden anyway once assembled.
