Mix of old and new, got the classic chapel of sanctuary, the ship is converted from a mantic warpath ship. The plank for the portal I think is from an old xbox. Wanted it to look like some backwater world. There was an old white dwarf board for inquisitor that had a cool stargate vibe that basically serves as inspiration. Wanted it to look like some rogue inquisitor is powering up a portal on some long forgotten imperial planet in the boonies.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Looking good! Is the "stained glass" from 4Ground's Urbes Mortis line?

It's an old out of print gw terrain piece that was fully painted, think it required partial assembly but it was only like 2 parts

Thanks. Never seen or heard of it before.

Edit: And it has 3rd ed. packaging. I was playing at the time, so not sure how I missed it, especially as I had a host who had nearly everything.

I think it may have been limited run or only available in the uk or something, I got really lucky getting one in a trade.

It's cool to see terrain from so many different sources/eras mixed into a single board.

One question regarding this guy:

Been a while since I've looked at my Marine statues, but did you have to do anything to make him bit on that AoS plinth/staircase? Or did it just fit like that first try?

It's just sitting there on the aos plinth, balances really well, seems to be a couple mm smaller on each side.

That's a gorgeous looking board. Not too cluttered and enough negative space that each piece on there is distinct and noteworthy. Well done!

Thanks, I tend to imagine a rhino trying to get around and make sure most gaps could fit the rhino.

That is a great looking board! Well thought out as to space vs terrain as others have pointed out. Lot of work there. Really appreciate you sharing it. Inspiring.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.
