Hello all!

I'm looking for Alternative Taurox models.
I personally hate the current model it has too much detail/random things going on it for my taste.
(I prefer flatter surfaces, no exhaust pipes, embroidery on sides etc)

I have been looking at Sd.Kfz 222 for a good starting point.
I have my eyes on a Tamiya 1/35 kit but I am unsure how this compares size wise, I would think its much larger than the Taurox.

And came across this old thread:

Any help is appreciated !

Are you hating on the body or ... I did a couple swaps with the tracks from 3rd party alternatives and it no longer bothers me anymore.

The body just doesn't look fit for a.combat zone, too much going on outside it.
Like why a huge grill, why outside engine ducting.

I could plasticized a lot of the panels flat but then why even use the model in the first place.

for scale models you need to look for Truck sized 1/48 models, like JGSDF wheeled tanks

or the Mantic Mule which has about the same size

Harry, bring this ring to Narnia or the Sith will take the Enterprise

There is also Spellcrows desert truck, but it is open topped and the drĂ¼ber can barely see the road. Nonetheless looks pretty cool:
