Hi,
this is my test of contrast paints on the Alpha Legion.
I applied two thin coats of a blend of Contrast paints from GW over a silver base, as an experiment to see how it turned out.
Unfortunately the silver is hand painted and turned out grainy. Had I just airbrushed it..
Anyway, tell me what you think

Looking pretty good methinks! Though woulda looked smooter if the silver had been airbrushed, as you said.

This technique will be great for experimenting with various contrast paint combos! You can test all sorts of subtle colour modulations.

I don't think you lose too much from the brush painted basecoat, the roughness adds to the weathered look imo. Great work!
