I am just learning the rules for throwing grenades in Necromunda and have a quick question. When throwing a grenade at a spot on the board, do you take into account negatives for the spot on the board being in partial or full cover?

Example: I throw a grenade at a spot on the board that is behind an obstacle. Is that a -2 to my BS?

I assume that you do but I don't like to assume when not necessary.

Thanks in advance.

The way I've played this (more a house rule as the rules indicate the first point is the one that should be used):

- If you can't see the spot you're aiming for, you can't hit it
- You can throw a grenade but it automatically scatters

I've always seen it as a case of using grenades to surpress opponents but you can't exactly see where you're throwing to
