Hey all, I've been slowly collecting a couple starter set halves of AoS over the years but haven't really got into playing. I've just about got them out of the "unbuilt stuff" pile and wondered if they were sensible enough to field as a basic army, or better still, as two relatively balanced small armies against one another.

Stormcast:
1 "Vandus Hammerhand" (guy on mount from AoS 1.0 starter)
1 Knight-Questor
1 Lord-Castellant
~10 or so Liberators with hammer+shield
5 Retributors with 2h hammers
3 Prosecutors with dual hammers

Nighthaunt:
1 Knight of Shrouds on steed
1 Guardian of Souls
1 Tomb Banshee
3 Spirit Hosts
20 chainrasps
15 Glaivewrath Stalkers
8 "Thorns of the Briar Queen"

With absolutely zero knowledge of Age of Sigmar points, I'd guesstimate these two forces to be approximately 1000-1250 points?

Your Stormcast come in at about 1085pts and the Nighthaunt at 1065pts, however you are missing 1 Stalker model as they come in units of 4/8/12.

I'd say they're somewhere very roughly similar in power too. Neither is very optimised at all, which is fine for a starter force. In the hands of 2 new players there's probably not much in it.
