Having some trouble reading into the wording of Rites of Battle in the SM Codex. Does the Rite (say on a Captain) allow a player to re-roll all attack rolls of 1 from the selected unit? For example if a model in a unit within 6 inches of a Captain and has a weapon with an attacks listed as 3 and that player rolls 3 ones, can they re-roll all of those attack roles?

It's a simple question doctor... If the moon were made of spare ribs, would you eat it?

Captain Dataslate in the SM codex wrote:Rites of Battle (Aura): While a friendly <CHAPTER> CORE unit is within 6" of this model, each time a model in that unit makes an attack, re-roll a hit roll of 1.

MAKING ATTACKS section of the core rules wrote:Attacks are made using ranged or melee weapons. Attacks can be made one at a time, or, in some cases, you can roll for multiple attacks together. The following sequence is used to make attacks one at a time:

Since attacks are made one at a time, you can use the Rites of Battle (Aura) for each one of those attacks, as long as the attacking model meets the criteria of the Rites of Battle (Aura) rule.

So that sounds like a short answer yes. If so, follow up question...if a weapon has multiple attacks in the profile, say a Heavy Bolter that rolls 3 for its number of attacks, each of those attacks rolls are considered a separate attack that can be rerolled even though they come from the same weapon and model - is that the correct logic?

Yes, as the base rules tell you. Each attack is one by one
