Hello all, I’m a new painter that is trying to follow along with the how to paint Dankhold Troggoth, but have run into an issue I cannot figure out. I’m at the first shade/wash phase in the video 2:50 on the Warhammer how to paint video (new to forum do can’t post link).

I’ve deluded the paint with the medium as suggested. But the shade becomes blotchy and streaky on the flat surfaces such as belly and neck. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Hoping someone has a suggestion.

Try adding a bit more medium, and use a test model to see how it works. Also try to avoid letting in pool too much in one area. If there is still a problem, try avoiding the problem areas altogether.
