I mean, what you've got is probably the best.

I wrote this list up... it's dumb. It's janky... It has 5+ ward save mega-gargants AND wizard mega-gargants. It's nasty.

Allegiance: Sons of Behemat
- Tribe: Taker Tribe
- Grand Strategy:
- Triumphs:

Leaders
Kraken-eater Mega-Gargant (490) in Alpha-Beast Pack
- General
- Command Trait: Very Acquisitive - Glowy Lantern
- Artefact: Amulet of Destiny (Universal Artefact)
Warstomper Mega-Gargant (470) in Alpha-Beast Pack

Battleline

Endless Spells & Invocations
The Burning Head (20)

Core Battalions
Alpha-Beast Pack

Total: 980 / 1000
Reinforced Units: 0 / 2
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 70

Alpha-Beast Pack says "Behemoth that is not Leader". Isn't your General a leader?

Oh, you're right. Technically both are Leader and Battleline, so Alpha-Beast Pack is off the table. It was just an "oh goody" bonus anyways and utterly inconsequential to the idea of 2 big stompy mega-gargants, one of which is a wizard with 5+ ward.

The kraken eater with 5+ wizard is the most powerful option available to Sons. The most powerful army build is probably just 4 kraken eaters.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

What is so powerful about a wizard? They only get one spell, have no faction special spells,, and don't have the points to take an endless spell? Not being sarcastic, I don't use many wizards in AoS and want to know if I'm missing out on something.

Also, I usually run a Warstomper with an Ironweld Cestus and Eager for a fight. The Cestus lets me reroll all failed armor saves which is nice. So is 3d6 charge.

In this case, being able to cast mystic shield. Close secondary to being able to unbind at 30" without a heroic action.
