What are the options for getting obsec on non-troop units?

Do any chapters / tactics / traits give obsec to non-troop units?

Are there non-astartes armies that can do this too?

Thanks!

The "Rites of War" Space Marine Warlord trait gives Obsec to units (characters and Core) that would not normally have it, as does the Warlord trait available to the Chapter Champion. Dark Angels have a way to give Obsec to Deathwing Terminators and Ravenwing Bike Squadrons through special detachments. I think that the new Orks have a Stratagem to give a unit Obsec for a turn. There are likely others sprinkled through the books. The Necrons have a Dynasty that grants that for example.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Custodes have ObSec on all non-vehicle rules from their detachment rule because they often won't have enough Troops to actually score if they were restricted to ObSec Troops only. Knights have ObSec on their Knights because they don't have Troops.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

Deathwatch are the masters of Obsec on non-troops.

It's all in the kill teams; basically, four types of Kill Team (Old Marine, Primaris, Gravis, Phobos). You take 5 basic troops and then ad five of whatever else the KT can choose from, and the whole team gets obsec.

If you are playing Crusade, there is a battle honor that gives ObSec.

Orks have Deathskulls klan which grants obj sec on every infantry unit and a Specialist Mob that allows a unit of gretchins (I think the only troop in the game without native obj sec) to be obj sec.

If you could tell me where you are finding that Knights have ObSec on their Knights because they don't have troops I would greatly appreciate it. As far as I know this is only available for a single Questor Imperialis knight taking a specific relic (also I think it may be a single option for a Freeblade? but dont quote me on that)

With Chaos Knights you can take the Infernal Quest warlord trait that gives just the Warlord ObSec (although if the objective is contested by an enemy unit with the same ability the Warlord counts as 10 models). There's no blanket ObSec.
