They just started a new Kickstarter for the forbidden lands today. 2 new books including a new location/map. This is a great opportunity for those who want to get in on the game to get in at a discount. They have packages that include the core games box set. So far they have run a kickstarter for every release of Fobridden Lands and have never failed to deliver superb quality on every front.
Happy to answer questions about the game if anyone has any. I think this is one of the best TTRPGs out there.

They're adding a solo play mode to the game. Be curious as to what that ends up being. I like pretty much anything Free League puts out so I've backed it.

From what I read, they are looking into what that (Solo play) would be. No promises that it's actually happening yet. They have been very careful with their wording about that.

I would be fine with them just making the hex crawl part of the game a bit more autonomous. To do real solo play RPG they'd need a choose your own adventure all all that which I really don't expect.
All the Free League games are my system of choice at the moment.
I like the danger. I like the point buy advancment. I like the worlds more and the content. I think it all adds more weight to the world and helps build better stories.
