My friend wants to play Blood Angels. Or at least he does right now. He wants to go full Primaris. If I buy him the assault intercessors + paints kit is that an ok gift or are those worthless to BA? I thought BA were really melee focused, but I don't play them. I can't afford the entire Start collecting, but should I go intercessors + paint or are Assault Ints a good pick for BA?

I'm not familiar with BA supplement so I'm not sure if Assault Marines are the best option available for a melee focussed army but they're certainly an excellent unit. They work great with SW, I don't see why they shouldn't work for BA.

They would make a great gift.

I think it’s a great gift!

My son plays Flesh Tearers, and he likes his Assault Intercessors.

I think he means the foot primaris with chainswords rather than the jump pack first born.

But, honestly the BA versions of either are kinda scarier. The 1+ to wound on the first round of combat is great against pretty much anything. I'd say way better than the 1+ to hit wolves get.

Yeah, I meant the primaris dudes as well, not the firstborn.

To be honest I meant the 2nd born. I don't think GW even has a jetpack kit with paints, set.
