I just had this thought after rereading Black Legion by Aaron Dembski-Bowden and the scenes with Abaddon and Sigismund or when Khayon is trying to persuade Abbadon not to board the Eternal Crusader seems to infer that Abaddon is infatuated almost obsessed with Sigismund and the degree that he sends reluctant to kill Sigismund or seems to let his fussed down resulting in being wounded.

I know what you’re going to say that Abaddon just respected Sigismund or that Abaddon was arrogant so he was wounded, however both those arguments defeat each other because Abaddon wouldn’t underestimate a respected opponent and if he just respected Sigismund why didn’t he refuse to fight Loken during the siege of Terra, Sigismund and Gavriel Loken were both fine swordsman, leading me to start that Abaddon had feelings for Sigismund that he did not return.

Nuremberg

Men can have deep respect and admiration for each other without being gay. But it doesn't matter, if you like that interpretation then you should feel free to go with it. I see marines as asexual, since they had their development frozen in a prepubescent state. But there's no hard facts on it anyway so whichever interpretation you prefer is fine.

Indeed.

Marines have never really been presented as interested in A Bit Of How’s Your Father.

One can love another person deeply without having any romantic feelings toward them. And we know Astartes deliberately foster feelings of Brotherhood - that the Legion, Chapter, Company and Squad are a family United in purpose.

Here, it’s all about the context of the source you’ve mentioned, and indeed a given person’s interpretation thereof. We’d each need to read the book to come to our own conclusion.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

There are a lot of bromances in the astartes, most have no sexual dynamic whatsoever.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

.. No, for feth's sake people need to stop seeing homosexuality in everything.
Abaddon didn't lust for Sigismund, he did not love him.

He respected him. Men can have feelings for other men beyond "secrect gay fantasy" and "complete disintreast" you know.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
