Thought this would be worth putting a thread up as there's a few designers out there who give away free models. Sometimes all the time, sometimes as part of a promotion or kickstarter or such so there's a time limit on them. So I hope we can all contribute to the free things we've found in the STL world. I'll do my best to try and edit in the long term free stuff into this first post

Printed Obsession does a good few fan-art freebies that he distributes through his MMF website. Note that he's only got a collection of the Overwatch content, the rest is listed under his "objects" listing - annoyingly MMF doesn't have a listing option for "all zero cost/free" content. So its a bit of hunting, but well worth it. They range from models to busts

Alexie Konev is giving away a 75mm diorama from his current Kickstarter project. Possibly worth grabbing just for the dead dragon base, all kinds of minis would work on that:

Yasashii Kyojin puts pretty much all their work up for free, only charging for the presupported versions. Adds new stuff pretty regularly, and there's some really useful DnD stuff in there.

I think it is awesome so many really quality sculpts are being made available, as I think the skill level is definitely increasing as more people start to sculpt and those that have just keep hetting better.

The KS is over but you can still download the free tribe ogre towards the bottom of the page - the entire line is superb! I printed the sample giant-sized on my Saturn and came out great.

Fabelzel on thingiverse has some fanatstic retro chaos dwarfs up for free. They have a patreon too if you'd like to support em.

Red Nebular works in the same style, and covers a bunch of factions, including minis in the 10-15mm scale. Also has a bunch of models up for free on thingiverse.
