Ogroid Thaumaturge (HQ, Power Rating 5)
Among the mutant Tzaangor tribes of Sortarius, there can be found chieftains swollen with arcane power. Such Thaumaturges have striven for the glory of daemonhood, or been marked since birth by the gifts of the Changer of Ways – proud and quick to anger, haunted by the whispers of the daemons that dwell in their arcane tattoos, these Ogroid warlords are guided with care by the viziers of the Thousand Sons, wielded as a blunt weapon against the enemies of the Legion.

Thousand Sons – Strategic Ploy Stratagem
Even the immortal masters of the Thousand Sons hesitate to stand before a massed herd on Tzaangor on the charge, twisted horns lowered as they chase the burning hooves of the mightiest among their mutant breed.
Use this Stratagem in your Charge phase, when a TZAANGOR unit from your army finishes a charge move. Select one enemy unit within Engagement Range of that TZAANGOR unit and roll one D6 for each model in that TZAANGOR unit that is within Engagement Range of that enemy unit: for each 6+, that enemy unit suffers 1 mortal wound. Add 1 to the roll if a friendly OGROID THAUMATURGE unit is within Engagement Range of that enemy unit. If that TZAANGOR unit contains 10 or fewer models, this Stratagem costs 1CP; otherwise, it costs 2CP.

seems a fun and fluffy edition to the army, its an awesome model so giving it a use is a great idea.

Rules wise these seem pretty reasonable, its always nice to see homebrew rues that aren't over the top :-)

The only think I'd mention is that the strat is only 1CP and has an open ended MW ability. I'd perhaps put a limit on the number it can cause, although unlikely you could stack this to cause alot in an idea situation.
I'd maybe stick a limit on it, it used to be 3MW for a CP but they seem to have increased the upper limit to 6 in recent releases.

That's very fair, I'll give it some thought. As an unmodified 6 I think it's be fine (you'd need 36 Tzaangors to average 6MW), but the Toughness-based roll makes it much more potent... It might be better capped at a single unit, since it's based on Hammer of Wrath.
