Hello.
Look out sir says you can't shoot a character that has a vehicle or 3 models closer to the shooter and that are also visible to the shooter.

But what if the shooter has indirect fire? Means the closest models are not visible to the shooter and he can target characters?

Or if the shooter moves behind a ruin with just the edge of the shooter's base that doesn't 'see' the vehicle but can see the edge of the character's base. Means he can snipe out a character?

Is that the wording in your book? im looking at it on the app, it doesn't say anything about the covering unit needing to be visable, just that the character needs to be within 3" of the cover unit, and if he is, you cannot target the character, UNLESS is he BOTH visable AND the closest unit to the shooter.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.

Look Out Sir doesn't say anything about the screening unit needing to be visible or not. Only the character would need to be visible, and closest. Indirect fire wouldn't matter; Look Out Sir would still apply.

Yeah, just re-read and noticed that. Was just thinking about grot-shields that do require the screening unit to be visible. And that's avoided way too easilly.
