This isn't so much about this specific list but rather a general theory of why a vanguard of Sisters may work in an AM list. The potential rise of Grey Knights and T-sons, and a yet to be released CSM, daemons, tyranids there could be a fair amount of psyker play seen in your local meta. Denying a crucial power on a 3+ for 1 cp and dishing out more mortal wounds on perils while giving out negatives to cast adds a fair amount of utility. For two vigilator squads and one prosecutor squad gives you a decent number of null bubbles and an alright melee punch/speedbump as well as possible engage on all fronts or Retrieve data units. Now I need to reread Guard codex but I believe they can ride in chimeras as well with infantry, imperium keywords as well. Comes to 230 pts and -3 cp which is less then a bullgryn mob at 315 pts. So as long as you have a rough plan of what you want to spend cp on and aren't burning it on rerolls, shouldn't be too bad. Anyways, I know the list below has some inefficiency but I think it's a solid list for the semi-competitive friendly garagehammer I play. Regardless of this theoryhammer I've been having a lot more luck with 10 man crusaders over bullgryn in the last five games I've played and at 160 points, 200 with a priest, the acts of faith are really good utility and they can be annoying to shift. Maybe it's just the dice but I've been struggling to utilize bullgryns effectively and have been trying to maintain a counter punch while gaining utility cutting costs etc.

Another Question does the null field affect your own psykers? If so I'd probably drop astro and inquisitor for an assassin of some flavour or lord commissar and tank upgrades.

Bullgryns have a nasty habit of not dying, or worse, dying but soaking up a ridiculous amount of firepower and allowing the rest of the army to do what its supposed to do.

I'm not too worried about any of the armies you listed as potential threats... except maybe grey knights. I'd think you will get more mileage out of another manticore or having your leman russ demolishers as tank commanders.

For transports the chimera have wording may transport 12 Astra Militarium, so ... no sisters of silence can ride.

I can see where the SOS would be fun if you are in a psycker heavy meta.
