Alright, here’s where I’m at with this. The Crusade rules say you can upgrade a unit member’s gun, if the unit has a unit leader it must be that guy’s. You can’t upgrade a gun twice. Now, I’m playing Necrons. I did not get the sweet sweet free strat upgrade despite my two rolls on the d3 chart. NOW, is there something I’m missing that prevents me from upgrading the gun on a different member of the same unit?

Each time a unit gains a Weapon Enhancement, you must select one model in that unit (if the unit has a unit champion, such as a Sergeant, you must select that model), then you must select one weapon equopped by that model...

Seems to me like if you get multiple weapon enchancements for a unit with no champion then you can distribute them to other models

As a tyranid player (we also have no unit champion/sergeant equivalents) i agree, you can do this just not the same model more than once.
