I am thinking of making a small Kill Team of Butcher's Nails augmented humans. Should I use the stats for the "Chrono Gladiator" from Inquisitor?

I don't know of any rules, but I'd say taking a look at Khorne Berserkers vs regular marines might be a good place to start for modifying baseline humans

The Butcher’s Nails are a horrific device.

Whilst I’m not aware of specific rules for them, the background should make you wary of using them as a plot device.

First up, never what they causes, even The Emperor (the most learned man known to…erm…man) couldn’t remove them from a primarch without lobotomising Angron.

Their effect? It’s basically an addiction to killing/fighting.

I don’t know (and won’t judge) if you yourself have experienced addiction

I myself am an addicted to nicotine. Forget how such an addiction is portrayed, and how addicts are protrayed.

Addiction is insidious. My brain doesn’t scream, kick or yell for the next ciggie. At all. It’s closer to hypnotic suggestion. The “hey….you’ve not had a ciggie for a bit”

It’s subtle. It’s innocuous. It’s….a relatively benign craving for something which only costs me money in return for a higher risk of cancer.

I genuinely dread to think what I might become if I could only scratch that itch by kicking someone’s head in.

So as cool a slide of dystopian SciFi as they are? Please think carefully about using them in a TTRPG setting, because they inherently limit the character’s options, and can’t be hand waved away/

I would imagine it would be less of a "plus 5 punching minus 5 friendliness" stat-effecting thing and more of a "this person no longer has complete control of themselves, you can no longer roleplay this character as having normal motivations"

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?
When the history of my glory is written, your species shall only be a footnote to my magnificence.

I would have it as more like Willpower tests and gaining Insanity and eventually Corruption (as Khorne's daemons start to take more notice). Those that are stronger willed (higher Willpower) might hold out longer but in the end they will succumb as the Willpower tests become more frequent and harder. Then effectively they become a NPC (unless you are playing a Chaos campaign but it then becomes more and more a one note character with little flexibility to do anything else).

I think I am going to use the Legion Trait "Butchers Nails" for the World Eaters.

One additional attack in the subsequent fight phase after a successful charge.
