I used this list to play in a 2000 pt tournament last weekend I will be typing up the battle reports after this post, but I figured I would post my army list so that everyone can point and laugh at it.  It did better then I expected for having plasma cannons and whirlwinds.

HQ - Big Command Squad

1 -Master - Storm Shield, Sword of Secrets, Terminator Honours, Frag, Melta Bombs, Lion Helm, Stubborn, and Infiltrate

7 -Command Squad- - 5x Bolt Pistol and CCWep.  2xFlamer all with Infilitrate and frag
1 ? Apothecary ? BP and CCW
1 ? Company Champ
1 ? Vet Sergeant with Power Fist and BP

Also attatched to Command Squad
1 ? Master of Sanctity ? 2xLighting Claws, Terminator Honours, Frag, Blades of Reason, Metla Bombs

Troops -

3x8 Tactical Squads, with 6 Bolters 1 Plasma Cannon, and Plasma gun, and a Vet Sarg with Powe Fist

2x8 Tactical Squads with 6 Bolters, Lascannon and Plasma gun and Vet Sarg with Power Fist

2x Whirlwinds with Castellan Mines

3x Ravenwing land Speeders with HB and Assault Cannon

I am thinking about changing the command squad to an assualy squad but that drops a speeder, and I would like to keep plasma cannon heavy if I still could, just like that feel of the army.  The reasons for the power fist in every squad is 1) I for some reasons can?t kill anything with an AV over 11 and 2) last time I played in a tournament I had a bad game where one wraith lord ate about 4 tac squads.

So go ahead and tear it down

you can't have infiltrate on your command squad, only furious assault or tank hunters........where did you get the infiltrate?? can't take traits so, hmmm?

You don't use nilla marine rules though, you are Dark Angels, use that codex (plus any updates). Tell me where in Codex - Dark Angels it says you can infiltrate, then I'll say ok. Because of your logic Codex Space Marines tells me termis are 40 points each, why don't you use that point value and play Death Wing; answer because your Dark Angels Codex (with updates) tells you your termis are 45 points. Can't pick what rules you like, got to stay constant...

At the end of the day this is just another shameful attempt at a marine army that seemsto be what everyone wants to do now a days and just bores me... Do yourself a solid, if you want to play marines competitively, take librarians with fear/fury, tons of assault cannons, minmaxed squads with las/plasma or the 2x melta trait with some drop pods etc... be like everyone else, and act surprised if you win.

I now hate marines because of GW favoring noobs, assault cannons, libs, and meqs...

Page 2 of the Dark Angels FAQ

- Command Squad - Ignore the Dark Angels Command Squad entry on p. 7 of Codex Dark Angels. Use the Command Squad entry on p. 29 of Codex: space Marines instead

and as sighted page 29 says that my command squad can take infiltrate.

How about someone posting on what i can do to improve my list without makeing it the fear/fury libby command squad that people seem to hate.

I wish I wasn't at work and had a codex on me... I just don't agree... How can a command squad infiltrait w/o the trait that says pay 3 points infiltrate.... Wait I have one in my car! Hazaa, I will be right Back lol!
I'm not knocking your list, I'll admit it's not too generic... But I'll read and get back to you asap on my take

Sir, you are correct... Blank puts foot in mouth... As an aside, I knew i was right about the +3 point thig lol. I gotta pay better attention, good show.
Anywho regarding your list is this for CoD or just regular matches, b/c you could change some stuff depending on the scenario...

Looks like CoD is picking up where i play, but it will do both, not to sure about the flamers in the command squad, but they just get shot and die first anyway

Flamers depend, do you play vs. many meq? If yes, drop the flamers and take plasmas/meltas...

First off, holy crap, I can't believe i missed that.........i have played Dark Angels for nine years and play them regularly.....I can't believe I overlooked that............I put my foot in my mouth too, thanks for correcting me........

Second, I used to take a flamer in my squads with HB before, but they suck in a straight up 40k game....However, with  the CoD, a flamer is a must over the Melta or plasma because, in most situations they are going to get a 4+ cover save through out the board.......so you might as well take a cover negating weapon...either way they have to save......just depends on the army you play.........I would still take some plas and melts, but flamers work the best against pretty much all armies (except the Marines of any kind)...............

I took 4 sentinels with Heavy flamers in my first game of CoD yesterday and against Eldar, sweet.............Also in your command squad, you might drop the Apothecary and add the Standard of Devastation (i think its name is this---the one that lets you take free shots at someone who wants to assault you===one use only)  Its a nasty trick....plus if you are in the right strategem you could get +1 to template strength, reroll to hit, or reroll to wound..........

Sorry for the ignorance earlier,

Soup

Something I would change, is give your Grand Master a bolt pistol and combat shield instead of the storm shield. It nets you an extra attack with a minor drop in CC invulnerable save.

Oh wait. Nevermind. You would be over 100 pts of wargear then.

Actually, aside from the general lack of mobility for your rank and file, it's not a bad list. You have a rock hard counterassault squad (the HQ), decent amount of shooty, decent number of warm bodies, a few of the en-vouge assault cannons, and some cheapo whirlwinds to direct your opponents path with and/or generally annoy the heck out of them. I think it's a fine list.

Actually, upon further reflection. I would drop the inquisitor-chaplain down to reclusiarch status. Saves you a few points

Something that will save you points..............Switch the Storm Shield and Lion Helm for an Iron Halo........if you drop the blades of reason too, then you would have a free 30 points to beef up a couple of squads...........if you still like the blades, then you should have enough to buy a marine and 10 pts left over.

Thought about dropping down the chaplin for the points could also take off his lightning claws. I want the strom sheild and the Lion helm. The entire command squad infiltrates has 3 4 inv saves and ignores first wound, so they take lots of fire power. What do i spend the points on is the qusetion, tempted to put multi meltas on the speeders for more anti tank cause i can't kill a tank with av over 12 for the life of me.

I'd go with the Multi meltas, but make sure you keep them in seperate squads to avoid them all dying at once, plus this makes your opponent waste firepower shooting at each individually.........
