Was just thinking of what's to come for the rest of the year and it feels like the release schedule is pretty well accounted for at this point. There are 12, maybe 13 Saturdays left before Christmas and at least ten blocks of releases to come. These were the things I could remember being announced or credibly rumored. Anything else? Feels like a lot given shipping unpredictability/potential delays and that some of these releases are likely to stretch out over a couple weeks.

+ Last Ork releases
+ Stormcast - Dominion kits + Dragons
+ Necromunda: Outcasts + Scenery + upgrade sprues per roadmap
+ Khorne Bloodbowl team
+ Black Templars Box/kits
+ Kill Team: Chalnath
+ Aeronautica Imperialis
+ Warhammer Underworlds Starter Box
+ GSC vs Custodes Box/Codices
+ AoS Chaos Battletome
+ LoTR: Fall of the Necromancer
+ Warcry: Red Harvest
+ AT: Warmaster Iconoclast
+ Battleboxes

This week is all the remaining ork releases apart from the stuff in the Combat Patrol (assuming they get released on their own), right?

There's also supposed to be an age of sigmar chaos book before the end of the year.

There is also the LoTR Fall of the Necromancer to be released

Warcry Red Harvest may or may not scrape in this year but there might at least be a Tome of Champions 2021.

Yep, this is it, except for the release of the Kommando kit from the Kill Team box and the new Boys/Koptas kits at some point.

I wouldn't count on that, monopose kits from Start Collecting/Combat Patrol sets generally don't get relased separately. Just look at the Start Collecting; Slaves to Darkness, or Start Collecting; Chaos Space Marines.

Would it be feasible to update the title to “~12 Release Weekends Left for GW in 2021”, or in some other way indicate this is a thread only about GW releases and not about general gaming releases?

Good call, given that anything previewed tends to be out withing three months it's a likely release.

Just an astounding amount of stuff still left to come!

Potential Horus Heresy leaks that we saw a few months ago never got an official preview or anything from GW, so there's still the possibility of that.

Lots to come out, so little time. But, then it'll all be here before you know it and we'll have a whole new list of things to look forward to.

+ 40K Octarius book - unveiled a while ago, should be October
+ 40K Black Templars army box - Confirmed as October
+ 40K Black Templars remaining releases - Rumoured as November.
+ Necromunda: Outcasts + Scenery + upgrade sprues per roadmap- roadmap implied November
+ Warhammer Underworlds Starter Box - I expect these to release alongside Necromunda stuff above
+ Khorne Bloodbowl team - I expect these to release alongside Necromunda stuff above

+ GSC vs Custodes Box/Codices - Rumoured as December.

I reckon the new Heresy will be next summer's big product as we're not due another AOS or 40K edition.

I suspect the Specialist Games stuff might all be done on a single weekend together?

I mean, I won’t swear an affidavit to that like.

If the GSC vs Custodes exists, it’ll be another Kill Team war zone. Given that they haven’t even given a date for Chalnath yet, I suspect it will be into the new year for that one.

Custodes and GSC is probably going to be like Hexfire, with a battle box and codex plus cards for both factions. Chalnath is the next kill team box, and should be late November, early Dec If the 3 month separation roadmap is accurate. The kill team starter set and release of dkok and kommandoes will probably share a release week with some other specialist game stuff.

There are a couple of pieces of circumstantial evidence pointing to the notion that GSC vs. Custodes will be a "Dual Box"

1. This is how the leaked rumor list has positioned it and it's been right so far.
2. GW has confirmed two new codices before the end of the year, one Imperial and one Xenos.

Given that only Astra Militarum and Custodes remain for the Imperium, and that the Guard is also rumored to have a larger wave of new model support, it seems like a reasonable guess.

We'll soon find out!

Don't forget about Imperial Knights too, but I'm 100% on the Custodes train.

Revised this list following the weekend - aside from FW is anything missing?

+ 40K Black Templars remaining releases - November.
+ Necromunda: Outcasts + Scenery + upgrade sprues per roadmap - "Q4 2021", implied as November
+ Khorne Bloodbowl team - unconfirmed
+ Dungeonbowl - unconfirmed
+ AoS Stormcast - Dominion kits + Dragons - December
+ AoS Nurgle Battletome - December
+ 40K GSC vs Custodes Box/Codices - December
+ Battleboxes - Normally end Nov / early December
+ 40K Tau codex - "Early 2022", probably January due to leaks
+ WHU Blackpowder’s Buccaneers - Q1 2022

Edit: if we assume xmas battleforces go up for pre-order on the last weekend of November as usual, that means there are two other release slots left to announce this month. That would probably mean BT & Necromunda weeks.

I've heard rumors and murmurings the Horus Heresy release has been pushed "well into next year", not sure what that means exactly but I don't think we'll see it soon.

I've also been hearing rumors from unreliable/unknown sources that holiday battleforces aren't happening this year... I didn't put any stock in it BUT over the weekend I noticed somewhere on warcom (or maybe it was the livestream) that the red gobbo was referred to as being something ot the effect of "the last holiday treat in store for us this year". I can't find the source now but I know it was through an official channel because it caused me to raise my eyebrow as depending on how you interpret that the implication is that there are no *holiday* battleforces coming.

Fair enough for no Battleforces when even basic products are struggling to get around right now.

We're also waiting for the new Kill Team starter set, with the separate Krieg and Komando boxes. They oddly didn't come out with Chalnath.

I don’t believe battleforces aren’t actually happening. This is the product like edition set (Dominion or Indomitus), which always happens, so no matter the odds GW will put it into a schedule.

As for the battleforces I predict in 40k they put Dark Angels, Sororitas and some xenos, maybe orks and drukhari. In AoS it might be ossiarch, stormcast eternals, lumineth, slaanesh. What do ya think?

Battleforces would be a strange thing to axe since they're almost purely in-house product.

I noticed that Dungeonbowl is a product that will be out this year when reading the Warhammer Day overview page description of it.

“What if you took Blood Bowl and stuck it in a dungeon, complete with mysterious portals, magical treasure, and competing Colleges of Magic all battling to get out with the most loot? You get Dungeon Bowl, a triumphant return to a true Games Workshop classic, coming later this year.“

I’m guessing it will be a Black Friday release. GW seems to like to release boxed games and boxed sets on Black Friday, so that would be fitting.
