Why aren't you playtesting to see what works for you?
Pretty much everything needs to be transported to get into mellee, and everythig that looks bad in melllee is going after objectives.
One thing you should know is that these top lists Is they aren't typically easy to play. And if you play test against a list that is contra to the meta they can get crushed just as easy as copy n paste in the first place.
Nothing replaces playing the list, also... you learn more by losing that winning unless you are testing a particular strategy then you are gauging on how much better that strat was compared to how you normally run it.
Pretty sure this isn't what you wanted to hear, but probably more like what you need to hear.
I ran a Tau list using all the garbage units against a buddy who just never wins. The game was super close and I got to try out a bunch of units I'd never consider otherwise, now I know the absolute worst unit in the tau codex. I recently did a semi-competative death guard list into a competative harlequin list. I learned a lot more than every other game where it didn't even seem fair whilst forgetting half my stuff.
(Incubi and wyches need to be transported most)
