Astra Nebula Kickstarter - current (at time of writing) raised money $12K - funding goal already met and they are unlocking stretch goals every $500 raised over the funding total.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/the-astra-nebula-3d-printable-tabletop-models/description

This is the second spaceship Kickstarter campaign by Evan Carothers *EC3D Design*.You can find his first - Terra Conflict - here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/the-terra-conflict-3d-printable-tabletop-models

Note that you can also buy it through the current KS as an addon (added in the post campaign manager, but you can add required money during the KS itself to help raise the total and unlock more).
$30 add-on for the base set, and $42 for the base set + both add-on fleets, $6 each for standalone add-on fleets. This is a bit cheaper than the post campaign page linked on the KS above, though of course if you buy it through the current KS you will have to wait until 2 weeks (minimum) after its over to get the models.

The KS page itself has full details and further down also has a link that lets you download 3 ships (including presupports) to see them for yourself. Note that the supports for the ships in the KS will be different as the campaign has picked up a skilled supporter who works for Atlas Support Solutions (the guy who does work for Mini Monster Mayhem and others). So presupports should be very good on these. The model work is already done (he's previewed a good many of the ships over the past months on his facebook); so after the KS is over and the money is delivered (normally 2 weeks after the end date) the file delivery should be fairly soon after (at least once the post campaign manager is setup and completed).

Photos of prints including a scale comparison to other model lines.

Renders of contents - there's 2 fleets, some civilian ships and stations and a few space monsters. Note that the campaign unlocks a new model every $500 raised above the funding goal. There's also 2 further fleets to add through stretch goals. All currently not unlocked content is desaturated a bit in the renders below:

I saw that one. Looks like a great resource for fans of A Billion Suns.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

These are really cool. I’ll have to see if I can buy prints of some of these ships when they come out.

I've had my eye on it for a long while since seeing the first campaign (after it had finished). I think my only crit is that the guns are fairly few and far between in terms of how they are modelled on the models. Which honestly is a complaint I can raise at almost ALL the current space ship STLs that I see. No one has really risen to replace Firestorm Armada or challenge Dropfleet. At least save for a few doing Battlefleet Gothic (and a few of them that are doing original ships lack a certain "wow" factor and the others are just copy-catting GW designs or ripping them from the video games)

Big fan of EC3D and these look way better than his first spaceship KS.

Awkwardly another fleet scale KS dropped less than 24h after this one

I saw that one but honestly I don't like the ship designs. They've a few free ones on their MMF page (linked poorly through that campaign) and eh they aren't to the same quality as EC3D.

Astra Nebula has hit $19,950 and is only a short distance away from unlocking a whole new space fleet at $21K! There's to be a community vote on which of the two fleets get unlocked when the goal is hit.

I've also noticed that a new ship or two and a space station have appeared greyed out in the "upcoming" individual ship goals .

Entering the last 3 days of the campaign!

The first of the two additional fleets have been unlocked!
In addition new goals including two big space stations (shown below) have been added to the stretch goals.

Currently standing at $25K with 4 of 12 fleet points unlocked (1 fleet point and 1 new unlocked generic ship/space station for every $1K raised). The new space stations show below take the campaign up to around another $4K to unlock so there's a very solid chance they'll unlock.
