U.S.S.R. vs. Germany.
Soviet: T-50, two T-70s, two T-34/76, one KV-1
German: P38(t), Marder III, StuG III, Pz.III, two Pz.IV
A giant KV-1 lumbers menacingly down the road (background added post game):
A Marder III lies in wait for a juicy target to pass between the buildings:
A Pz.III and a Pz.IV skirt the treeline towards hard cover behind the buildings:
From behind the house, the Pz.IV brews up one of the T-70s on the road, while the Pz.III sets up just inside the woods:
He probably should've gone behind a house, too:
Like this Pz.III did:
A T-34/76 squares off against a Pz.IV, protected by some woods:

Thanks!
We actually ran out of time, so we didn't come to an actual conclusion, but we kinda gave the V to the Soviets. They lost a T-70 and a T-34/76, with some side damage to the other T-34/76.
The Germans lost a Pz.III and a Pz.IV, while the other Pz.IV was chased out of the woods, to the other side, where he remained basically pinned down. So, at the end of the day, we felt like the Soviets still had a strong enough hold on the town to call it a victory.
I'm gonna be running this scenario, as well as a couple others at a local convention in two weeks. I'll take more pics then.

I love what a tanker - keep trying to get people to play using their 40k vehicles!

Genius! That's a great idea. I might have to try to port that over to using Epic 40k minis!!!

Been meaning to pick What a Tanker up to see how it plays. I have a growing collection of 1/56 scale armor for Bolt Action armies, but IMO the armored vehicle gameplay in Bolt Action is honestly awful - its good enough for an infantry focused game, but if you're interested in a vehicle focused game its fitting a square peg into a round hole.

It plays smooth, it plays quickly, and it's stupid easy to learn. It's even easier to teach. Don't expect any sort of realism. It's meant to be a light, fun "beer & pretzels" style game. If you're thinking about picking it up, then definitely just do it.
