Food for a Giant Fenrisian Wolf

Fenris

Wanted to put together a list of a kind that I haven't used before. Basically bowl everything up to the middle of the board and start causing some havoc with the Bladeguard and Thunderwolves, with the chaplian there for support.

Meanwhile the Wolf Guard can clear chaff and the Interssors are my ObSec units

Hopefully with so much running at mid board so quickly shots would have to be directed a multiple units

Any constructive criticism would be helpful as I have never built a 2000 point list

Thanks in advance guys.

It looks like a fun and fluffy list. I am missing some long range support. It is probably gonne be a blast to play.

If you can find 25 points upgrading the chaplain to vice orator could be fun. (That would probably be the powerfists on the troops or changing fenrisian wolves to cyber wolves.)

The Eternity Gate

Looks like a super fun and direct list.

As you're probably aware you are so direct that if an opponent can bring you forward without letting you charge you can get shot up or counter attacked fairly easy.

All that is to say don't just YOLO forward and play cagey where you can.

So to make pressure lists like these succeed you have to be super efficient in your point expenditures, That being said you are spending 350 points in troops that aren't adding to your pressure.

My suggestion is drop the fenrisian wolves and replace them with 2 singular cyberwolves, saving you 20 points. Drop all your intercessors and replace them with a 10 man assault intercessor and 2x5 man blood claws. Then drop one attack bike and the chapter master upgrade to buy a drop pod and a powerfist for each blood claw Sergeant.

Now you gain a mess of tactical options. The Assault intercessors can be run into the midfield to hide behind terrain and be ready to spring out and countercharge anything that moves up, you can use cunning of the wolf to make your opponent want to stay off the edges or you can combat squad them to spread out and take objectives.

The Bloodclaws are there to have your chaplain zoom up the board with the +2 to charge aura and then dropping the pod nearbye for easy turn one 7" charges opening up Warrior Pride as a viable 15 point secondary. Give the chaplain the wulfen stone for free charge re-rolls to really make this pop (re-rollable 2d6+2 charge succeeds like 88% of the time). Conversely you can keep them out of the pod to use as stout objective holders and just use the pod to take table quarters, drop onto uncontested objectives or just drop well ahead of your main army to soak up smites from Grey Knights or Thousand Sons armies (popping blessed hull on a drop pod to soak mortal wound spam is as hilarious for you as it frustrating for your opponent).
