strategic notes:
I'm trying to present some big threats from turn 1 to maximize magnus's chances of survival.
I know I can use high acolytes strategem to give another warlord trait out, but none of the remaining ones seem useful, and I'd rather use the CP to buff my scarab blob or Magnus.
Magnus and DP travel together for turn 2 charge separate targets to leverage conniving plate. Magnus look out sirs the DP according to the rule "A friendly unit that contains 1 or more VEHICLE or MONSTER models with a wounds characteristic of 10 or more."
vortex beast gets duplicity teleported to largest enemy squad using auto cast cabal ritual, but stays within 12" of magnus to heal him each turn
thousand sons get crystaled to flame medium toughness enemy squad
termies shoot with strategems and buffs, travel with exalted and infernal master
5 TS camp some corner map objective and farm cp or infernal master using cabalistic ritual. Pretty much always goes off at WC4
ahriman flies up with the flamers for buffs and witchfires
