nah, probably not. they are strong.
I will say, though, im not getting that much out of them vs non-horde builds.but often, especially with out the missiles,
MEQ-units just shrug off the volkite shots with 2-3+ saves.
cool thing is, they keep even heavier stuff honest due to the
MW-mechanic. its just not very reliable. at least not for me.

OP. yes, they are a tier one unit and definitely on the top of the power curve. And yes they can mutilate hordes, but hordes need a strong counter right now,
Imo. also, the
CP cost keeps the volkite redemptor reigned in,
id say.
Im still a fan o the build, though : )

Neat. probably too much hassle, though. on the other hand you could build quite the backfield castle with to volkite dreads and one techie for repairs, +1 to hit (only on one of them, i guess, as storm of fire would take up the slot for master of the machine) and potential extra
AP.
