It’s not April 1st…

Sadly even if it was filled today it’s be about a year before anything changed.

GW are releasing a lot of books these days, so skimming is about all they’ll have time for

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Perhaps it’s for the person to proof the book so once they are out so they can get the FAQS up quicker .

I particularly enjoyed this among the required skill sets for the job:

“A lack of bias towards your favourite army, model, etc.”

Wonder how they came up with that one???

They certainly need more editors. Challenges in LOTR don't even function as written....

All kidding aside, I can't see this as anything but a good thing. Another set of eyes can't hurt.

Are their mess of books not selling that they decided to proofread them for a change? I cannot imagine other reason than the money to do this.

Can't decide if that would be the easiest job in the studio or if you would be eating a shotgun by the end of the week...

Apparently you can use it as a stepping stone to move up the hierarchy and increase your duties and commensurate salary.

If you were in charge of necromunda 22 I would actually consider buying in.

Probably the Tyranid/GSC controversy from a couple years back. As memory serves, one of the play testers was actively trying to make the codex suck because they didn't like those armies. I think it was the GSC book for 8th that was delayed because they had to fix it.

Oooff… Hadn’t heard about that one. I know there have been stories about positive bias being a thing (some Eldar book from way back, maybe?) but deliberately trying to nerf something, ouch. Although, when I showed my son the job ad, he said he’d love to have it so he could OP Orks and Dark Angels, and nerf everyone else.

But then, he’s twelve… ;-)

That sounded like a load of rubbish though.

One play tester wouldn’t get anything changed, particularly as all the others wouldn’t be on the same page etc.

That’s just how stuff like that comes out when there’s a delay behind something etc I’d say..

But who knows.
