With all the worry over 'supply chains' etc, are we expecting Xmas Battleboxes this year or might this be a year they skip?

If we are expecting them, what do you guess we might see?

Always loved these boxes as they make an easy Xmas present for me from my missus

Id love a GSC one(doubtful with GSC Codex coming I think?) and maybe an Eldar one with various Aspect warriors(again doubtful). An Ork one might tempt me into starting on a greenskin army.

There are none shown in the Christmas flyer, but that doesn't rule out a late announcement.

Given they're not in the Christmas Gift Guide that GW are giving out, I'd expect that we won't see actual boxes available in-store or via independent stockists.

What we might see are some actual bundles on their website, like the Nurgle one that popped up briefly towards the end of the Warhammer Day period.

This is, emphatically, why I will continue suggesting nuking Guard and starting over again. It's a legacy army that needs to be rebooted with a new focal point.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Gathering the Informations.

Krieg are unlikely to get one, BUT there is a rumor of a DKoK launchbox next year. There's been several mentions of DKoK being effectively released as a "range" of their own. Persistent rumors of Grenadiers, Death Riders, and Heavy Weapons Teams keep being Out There alongside of blisters for different Officer types and at least one accessory sprue.

4 AoS battleboxes just announced today. If they weren't in the Christmas book, then this doesn't disqualify 40k either.

40K also has 2 Charadon bundles right now, but these aren't battle boxes- they're combat patrols + a few extra units, and other than the discount that CP box provides, there are no additional savings.

If we are getting any, we'll hear about it soon.

The sunday preview article says that there are going to be battleforces for both AoS and 40K, to be announced today.

Be sure to join us on Thursday the 18th of November, when we’ll be revealing all of this year’s Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battleforces in preparation for the holiday season. Not only do they save you money compared to picking up the constituent units separately, but each Battleforce will provide the perfect start – or significant reinforcements – to any collection.

It's only a matter of time and they'll post a 40K article as well.
